Innovative Photo-Activated Disinfection (PAD) technology
For years, Photo-Activated Disinfection therapy is renowned for improving restorative success in prophylaxis, periodontics, endodontics and restorative dentistry as well as in the field of implantology e.g. peri-implantitis, by eliminating all species of oral bacteria on demand. It is very effective in stopping decay, in saving demineralised tissue. Lit-600 is the LED with red light system of a specific wavelength to activate the agent. When introduce the agent into dental hard tissue, it targets and tags all bacteria. When it is activated by Lit-600 it releases single oxygen which ruptures the cell membranes of bacteria killing them in a short time. It eliminates all bacteria and, does not affect any other normal tissue nor does it stain the gingival or restorations.

Fast disinfection and easy customization
The Lit 600 can eliminate most bacteria, viruses and fungi in 60 seconds for pain-free and long-lasting disinfection. It features easy customized 4 timing presets and 3 power output presets for practicing different treatments

Instructions:

Periodontal pockets

Prepare the pocket by scaling and root planning the surface of the tooth. Place viscous/gel agent into pocket from the bottom upward for 60 seconds to ensure the effective penetration of the pocket depth. Gently insert the disposable plastic perio tip at the bottom of the pocket. Irradiate for 60 seconds. For pockets deeper than 5mm, increase the contact time of viscous/gel agent to 90 seconds for best results.

Perimplantitis

Place the viscous/gel agent into the lesion site. Leave for 90 seconds to ensure effective penetration of the pocket depth. Put the disposable plastic tip on the light guide, insert it into the bottom of the pocket and illuminate for 60 seconds.

Periodontal prophylaxis

Syringe viscous/gel agent into the gingival crevice with the contact time of 60 seconds. Place light guide over the interproximal area (refer to Fig. below). To ensure the end of the light guide is held 1mm away from the gingival surface.

Carious lesions

After removing softened infected dentine tissue, drop the liquid agent into the crown and leave for 60 seconds to ensure effective penetration of remaining infected dentine. Put the light guide on Lit-600 and illuminate for 60 seconds. It will eliminate persistent bacteria, preserve the pulp.
